BTW, I also had both Axe FX2 and TH2 and realised Fractal may go. How would you compare amp/cab sims Axe vs TH2? In fact Axe Fx2 is a plugin too, just with a dedicated hardware :-)

I don't want to appear rude, I know I have only just joined these forums, but I would really appreciate that we could stick to my topic so I might get an answer, thankyou x

Did you check with Overloud as suggested? Give that a try James. It cannot hurt.

You might try installing the SONAR update packages individually and not updating "Boutique FX Suite"...which I think is what includes the THx product.  I typically avoid the CCC altogether...but you should get better control by picking which package to install rather than letting it update everything.

At Stratman70 - got your PM unable to reply - No problem :)
At Afrodrum - TH3 seems to inherit the Cakewalk amp sims so it's fine.

At Dantarbill - Thanks this actually helps me. The issue is that this "Boutique FX Suite" contains several plugins clamped together. I don't see TH3 in the description however, just TH2. I want to keep VX-64, vocal strip and PX64.

I need to uninstall Cakewalk editions of Overloud products from that package somehow, and when I upgrade this package I don't want the Overloud software reinstalled and I need to keep the other plugins. I just can't understand why plugins aren't distributed as individual installers in Cakewalk Command Center, it just makes life difficult for no reason. I thought Command Center was designed to make installation easy but obviously not.

Hey James-Glad you got the PM :-)

Senior moments here....The reaso I am not seeing the Cakewalk Breverb or the Cakewak TH2 is I excluded them in the plug in manager. So when I choose a FX I only see my full TH2 Producer, TH3 and my Full Breverb 2.

Just to be sure I didn't just do this-I reinstalled the botique and engineering suites. excluded plugs are "still" hidden.
not the perfect solution but at least I don't have to see them when choosing fx.

Thanks Stratman70 - that's a reasonable workaround, but I just don't want the Cakewalk versions to get anywhere near the full versions.

I saw there was some issue with Cakewalk TH3 overwriting the TH3 full versions for instance, granted that has already been fixed but I want to avoid these possible scenarios entirely. So far it doesn't seem that intuitive; CCC appears to have a one size fits all approach right now. I don't think this is a big ask to have it install or uninstall exactly what I want, where I want, like most installers.

Well I hope Cakewalk will do something about this :(

Is there a way to simply uninstall TH3?

I have the same question as the original post.
Just bought TH3 Full version, but I'm not sure how to go about it, or how to remove the Cakewalk version.
Have gone through many activation woes with plugins and would like to avoid any more hassle than necessary.

Thanks
