Thanks everyone for your input. I was able to use CWAF scan to pull up audiofiles but noticed that some of them say referenced and some say orphaned. So I hope the orphaned ones are the samples that have been discarded from a project. Tried to scan the clean audio folder several times but it just causes sonar to crash. Give me any feedback about the samples that are called orphaned.

I just discovered CWAF about a month ago and it works well for me, especially after many frustrations with hanging/crashing running the clean audio folder routine.  With CWAF I click on the Status column so it sorts them where all the orphaned files are at the top.  Then I highlight these orphaned files and choose Move Wave - another window opens - I choose Recycle Bin to move them there.  Then I do rescan with Find to make sure they're moved and that I got them all.  Then every once in a while I clean my Recycle bin.  I've never had any problems with doing that but I also do project backups regularly just to make sure.  By the way, the referenced files are your good files that belong to projects which I wouldn't mess with.
