This mix has a bit too much mid to upper mid for my taste, but that's just me. Everything sounds well balanced, but the overall curve sounds a bit skewed to the upper middle.

The mix was a bit bright/edgy for my tastes, but it certainly didn't detract from a fine job.

So now all we need is someone to say it's too bass heavy and we have a winner (or loser?) as we would have covered the (nearly) whole audible spectrum.

Thanks for the listens guys.

Definitely not too bass heavy, lol. I think, generally speaking, Steve and I are in agreement though...right Steve

See how terms/words (not numbers) can confuse? For me upper mids are crunchy not bright. But what do I know. I just play bass.

Now, if one of you said too much 3-5K range and the other said too much 4-6K range I would have interpreted that to mean probably very close to the same thing. Upper mids and bright/edgy didn't quite resonate the same thing to me. Maybe I'm a numbers guys not a werds guy

Well you all have gone and done it now!  I was in a perfectly good bad, lousy mood  ---  then I listened to and watched this video ---- and now I have a smile on my face and feel good.  What a waste of a bad mood.

Actually I like everything about this.  The mix, IMHO, is very well done.  There is good separation not only among the instrumentation but also the vocals and instruments.  Trying to get this right on my own stuff has been a bit of a pain in some of my anatomical locations.  The performances were very good as was the video.  Bapu, did you shoot any of the video or do any of the animation?  Just curious,  it was a great job of editing and tying the lyrics/story to the music.

Very well done.   Now excuse me while I go listen to the latest song I am working on -- so, I can put myself back into a bad mood (kidding!?)

Completely!   I think what we both really mean is that there just isn't enough bass to balance things out.   Yup, that's it.

Mostly it was first searching for (royalty free) still images that I created the first pass on the video. Then I joined a site for a year that offers royalty free videos and from there I fleshed it out by removing some still images and inserting the action videos. And thus the current video is the results from that effort.

To get my money's worth from the vid site I feel that I need to make at least one video a month (for the next 11 months) which I'm not sure I'll be able to do but I'll try.
