Please consider a feature where you can delete a measure and the hole regardless of whether there is any audio or midi at the delete point.

As it is now, if there is no audio or midi in some of the tracks where you make the delete, you have to manually drag them over.

If you use comping heavily, this can be very tedious to drag that many clips over and keep your original timing where you had it before.

We can only wonder if Cakewalk is considering this or not, but people are certainly screaming for it, and have been for a while.

Seeing the recent question regarding this function I was reminded how frustrating it can be to have to put some sort of data into an empty track in order to delete a section using the Delete hole function.
I would like to see the Delete Hole function work on empty track sections as well as those with data in them. Can't believe this hasn't been a feature request before.
