So what you are saying is you have exports (IOW, the wmv and mp3 files) of your MC6 projects but lost all the MC6 projects which created the exports. Now you want to take the exports and in some way deconstruct them back to their MC6 project files. This is a little like asking can you separate the cake back to flour, eggs, butter and sugar after the cake is baked. There are third party tools which can convert audio to MIDI but I do not believe you will get very good results with a complete mix. There is nothing in MC6 for this type of task.

I am SOOOO sorry for your data loss - most of us here in the forums seem to have at least a single layer of similar scar tissue, from losing data, to either corruption or more often a hard drive failure with no backups.

Disk drives are SOOO inexpensive these days, compared to what they were even a year or two ago, that I highly encourage you to pick up one or more additional disk drives for backup purposes, and if you can do it, I also suggest you split your Cakewalk projects and any sample libraries off to a separate drive - for performance.

I hope you are able to rebuild your lost projects to be pretty close to how the exports sound.  Good luck with what sounds like a GIANT bunch of work.
