Nice spacing on the tracks and reverb. Has a very natural live sound I like.

Nice one  -- it has a great pop sound!  I think that you did a very good job on the mix and of course the performance is very well done also.

Freddy J - thanks for you kind comments and for listening.

Starise - thanks for listening, and that's interesting that you thought it has a live sound to it.  I put a bit of reverb on the master bus.

I like the 'real' sound of it. The bass is the boss here while the drums take more of a back seat. I reckon they should both be in the front seat driving the vocal, who's standing on the hood drinking a can of beer.

Nice mix separation on this track, performance comes across nicely. The subtle use of effects on the vocal works very well.

Nice tune. Really enjoy the mood, love all the color you add, and really enjoyed the phase shifting guitar effect coming into the second verse.  Vocals are a mixed bag for me on this one, because you have a great voice texture and when you're on you sound perfect. But something about the verse melody...it's quite pitchy to my ears, even though I like the melody and that kind of melancholy vocal approach.

You have a good writing sensibility, in my opinion, and a good song on your hands.  Enjoyed hearing it.

Nice spacey sound.  The flanged guitar sounded a tad too far out in front viz your vocals.

I learned quite young to always keep one hand free for beer! (They didn't teach me that in driver's ed. Had to learn it on the streets like a common gutter snipe.)

Your vocal is getting better Doug. A lot less stabby in this one. I liked the guitar very much! I don't usually care for tremolo / vibrato. Too 1963 for me. Besides, Duane Eddy's dead. (No, wait . . . hmm. . . .) But it worked very well here!

montezuma - Thanks for listening, and the beer would be a can of Foster's of course
biodode - I used the Waves Manny Marroquin vocal vst on the lead vocal - it seemed to work pretty good on it - thanks for your comments.
Voda La Void - Thanks for your kind comments.  I think the verse vocals are ok, but everybody has different ears.
eph221- Thanks for listening, and i'll give it a few more listens to see if the lead guitar should be pulled back a bit.
Wayfarer- Thanks for listening and your comments.  Yeah, I found that lead guitar tone in TH3, and I thought it was a good fit for the song.
