I liked it - that's a cool progressive rock tune - I'm sure ELP or Yes would have liked it But seriously - nice job - the mix sounds good to me.  The lead guitar playing is excellent.

Thanks, Doug!  ELP and Yes references are always appreciated.

This is crazy stuff! I was waiting and waiting for a groove to sprout and grow for a few bars, but the phrasing was relentless...the wind up and then unleashing, bar by bar it seemed of salvo attack. I was waiting for Martin Medeski & Wood to kick in!

Sounded good through my Yamaha hph mt220's.

Thanks, Matt!   Yes, I do have a tendency to not sit on a groove for any length of time, though I would like to do more of that.  But hey, this one just demanded something more ADHD.       I haven't listened to MMW in quite a while though, maybe I should...

Wow!  I'm breathless!
Steve, this is good stuff!
Threw me back to MY years of listening to fusion and progressive rock.
Really good man!
After reading all the comments I don't really have anything to add, but I'm blown that you didn't write it down first (not that that matters.. MORE impressive that ventured into that "off the cuff")...

Stunning work. I bet this would be challenging to a singer to sing

Thanks, Arlen!  Perhaps someday I'll retro less, but I suppose today is not that day.      I actually should write this stuff down more often though, because it can be difficult trying to figure out what I did after the fact.  You know, age and all.

Thanks, Antti!   I don't know what a singer would do over top of this, but I would sure like to hear it!

Yeah, unavoidable I'm afraid...   Though I'm still waiting for the "like a fine wine" part to kick in.   I may have a long wait.

Just to echo what everybody has said, this is excellent.  The breaks and the complexity are genius and the execution is solid.  Yes and King Crimson seem the right comparison, and I would add a band I haven't thought about for a while, Brand X.  Would be fun to see a live version of this.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice transitions and the varying pace and beats makes it an interesting listen. Good one.
