Bearing in mind the Craig's had an updated release for over two weeks already, they could have let us have something, then released another partial release.

It wasn't really an updated release, more like a modified release...certainly not something that was intended for general dissemination. Every now and then, I can convince someone at Cakewalk to give me a half-baked/untested mod because of all the work I do with these products. Usually they're just temporary, but sometimes they can lead to something that ends up getting fully baked.

This isnt a dig at cakewalk but!  generally only video game companys get to release a product thats faulty and respond with were fixing it soon "by the beginning of june haha". I wouldnt expect this from a virtual instrument company or is this a sign of things to come?

Funny, I was thinking something similar myself, in that Rapture Pro ended up being the worst bit of software I have purchased in many years, since my gaming days actually. I know I could fix a lot of the things myself, the silent patches for example, but I just couldn't be bothered, and I shouldn't have to, so I just refuse to use it, and wait to see what the fix is like, I know I could use it now, but I just hate things that don't work properly. I must admit that my confidence in Cake has been shaken a bit by the Rapture Pro debacle

To be fair, I think they said 'Early' June, there is a difference, as the beginning of June could imply June 1

I wouldn't think so, but I guess anything is possible, but I think it was just a bit of a stumble. I look at Rapture Pro like this, it's a dog, but it's at the vet's, and they are expecting a full recovery :)

The update helps but...
After installing the update, Rapture Pro projects open very-very quickly but.. still few presets are either not working or crashing- freezing Rapture Pro and could crash the DAW too.
Bottom line no matter the small problems I still love Rapture Pro

The update corrects the legacy multisample paths so the migrated Dimension/Rapture 1 programs should now read their multisamples correctly (if not manually corrected previously). There's also a content update in the works (sorry, no details as to when yet). If there are particular programs that aren't working for you, it'd be helpful to know which specific ones (please submit via a problem report). If there's a bunch of programs that don't work for you, you might need to troubleshoot how your content is currently installed, which Support can definitely help you with.

The only issue I've had with Rpro is it will load a track near instantaneous but opening the interface resulted in a program not responding error, sonar platinum, I had to wait over a minute for the OS, win7, to resolve the issue.
Fortunately the update seems to have reduced the problem greatly, the response is still a little slow but no longer creates the error message. Dimension pro interface is near instant, rapture pro is about 6-8 seconds. Maybe because of reading the huge library content. The problem is solved before I reported it!

The 2.01 update seems to have fixed the issues I had with RP.  It loads quickly and I can access the presets that didn't work before.
Some of the presets are way loud so I don't use headphones when auditioning them. Same with Z3TA. Except for that I'm happy with RP now.

Just after a quick, very quick look see, I still find quite a few silent patches, only checked out Galbanum Piscis, they all work fine in Rapture just not Rapture Pro, I have all Dim Pro and Rapture stuff installed to the default locations, Rapture Pro I installe the multisamples to my H drive. In hind sight I would have preferred Rapture Pro to have not been backwards compatible with Dim Pro and Rapture, a feature which at the start was a plus for me, but now, not so much.

Haven't had a chance to check out the wildly different volumes of some of the Rapture Pro factory patches that existed, one or 2 of which were barely audible, can't remember which ones they were now, so would have to go through the lot, which I don't have time for right now.

I never had any problems other than silent patches, which I still have, never had the slow loading or anything, haven't used Rapture Pro since about a week after release, so it could be imaginitus, but if anything it is loading slower now, not extremely so, but I checked some of my older posts here about it, and it indeed does seem to be slower for me.
