Hi everyone,
This one is a rock number... I'd like to ask you to listen to the music...
I'll have to resing it (little struggle)...
Please share your honest opinions... (don't be polite... "hit me with the truth"!)

(INFO: it's not your speaker or headphone... I have audio protection on the track... so it mutes a few times)
Always be careful with volume level!

This is a terrific backing track.  Quick! Slap some vocals on it before it burns itself up...

For me as old rocker is to much keyboards, too little variety, boring on a permanent basis.
It could punch a little more. Drums more rocklike. Of course with vocals could sound much better, depending on the kind of singer that sings.

@Allan
Thank you for taking the time... I'll try to do my best with the singing game... tough for me.

@Harry
Thanks for taking time to listen a and to comment.
Boring? ... Well I am using the verse guitar theme for chorus as well (with a little  keyboards)... it is on purpose! Singing melody is completely different there! ... but I might have a look at that chorus giutar theme.. who knows... maybe I can alter it.
Keyboards? I like keyboards especially strings in rock!

Punchy? I'll have a look at that.

Drums? Personally I am fine with the drums!

Yes with singing (+extra vocals) it should sound different.
This is not a hard rock song. It is a soft rock kind of thing with focus on the rhythm so it has a different approach!

Thank you all!

Psych Furs? Echo y los Bunnymen? What great territory this is! Your instrumental mixture sounds really great. I'd comment on pulling back the reverb a bit, but no, that's not what the 80's were about, so it's great!

I think the bass guitar could get away with a little more volume and more info below 150hz. But as presented, it nails the perky '80's busy bass vibe.

Vocals? They don't sound bad. They need to be up louder, 'cause it's hard to hear the lyrics 100% of the time. Your voice has a listenable, vulnerable quality, and your English accent definitely fits the bill!

Killer beginning, will check back for more.

cheers,

@Tom
Thanks you for taking the time to listen and to reply!
Yes, basically I love the 80's rock... kind of soft-rock dimension... and also the "busy bass vibe". I love to use it!
You might be right about the reverb and the frequencies. I'll have a look and try to do my best.

Thanks again!
