as a AlphaTrack user I also want to thank Alexey, enjoy his work on az controller .

Now I'll stick to AlphaTrack and Sonar. Am I getting a bit too nostalgic?

I'll call it "vintage"

I imagine my kids one day  going "What? Still Alpha Track?? Sonar??? Really dad? Are those originals or clones?"

So, AZ Controller will NOT get re-incarnation in:
* Mixcraft - no API and no offer for cooperation (confirmed).
* S1 - I have not found any API, no reply on the question. Also I have already spotted one feature I do not want to miss in my next DAW, without even installing a demo.
* Cubase - I have not found any API, expensive "dongleware".

I no longer "fear the Reaper". Unlike with some other DAWs, there was no WOW effect when I have tested it some time ago, more like OMG effect. Even during more detailed testing now, I must admit that finding something without google is not possible. So far, pro.:
+ everything I have found how to do (a) works,  (b) make sense
+ "Clip gain automation", which is called Pre-fader volume automation in Reaper, is something I have seen in many ProTools based videos.
+ API is there
+ Accessibility friendly
+ license system is user friendly
+ The "content" I already have from Sonar, partially upgraded to full versions. I mean I do not need yet another set of DAW specific plug-ins

Cons.:
- no ARA... and no plans for it...

I've been playing with REAPER for some time now. I'd love to see what you can do with it. :-)
