Steve,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and patience.  You make the Cakewalk forum much more user friendly.

You've always been there to help whenever I needed it.

Thanks and all the best to scook!

Maybe you'll be around here (I certainly will for a while) or maybe we'll meet on our new DAW (whatever that may be) forums 😉

I once mistakenly mentioned that Steve must work for Cakewalk and was just a hidden identity.
That's the only time I've ever seen him write something in a angry tone of ,, well writing.
So according to him he never has worked for Cakewalk. It doesn't really matter because one way or another he helped more people here than anyone. It was often hard to beat him to answer someone.
And you best not give the wrong answer or stand corrected!!
He always had the answers and knew where to look. No details, just the facts.
I have a feeling he won't be following us to a new forum or staying here when the dust settles but I hope he does.

Hate to break it to you, but there is no "scook." That is the name Cakewalk gave to a giant supercomputer that was programmed to hold all knowledge of anything related to SONAR.

Ohhhhh, I get it. SCOOK is an acronym:

Super-Computing Omniscient Open Knowledgebase

Rather silly of us not to figure that out sooner.

And he it will be shut down and dismantled when the lights go off for good.

Not just help with Sonar. I remember for a period he tried to help me learn some programming. Sadly my old brain just wasn’t up to the task.

Thanks scook.
