You might try turning the caps lock off.  It's the internet version of shouting.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by "listen to the speakers."  Sonar doesn't "listen" to anything.  Do you mean record what you are hearing through the speakers?  Or monitoring your audio input through Sonar when recording?  Or something else?

Also what version of Sonar are you using?  I never had sonar 4 but I am confident that the current version of Sonar has all functionality of Sonar 4. so if we can figure out what you mean, we can certainly direct you to how to get the results you want.

It sounds like you want to record a karaoke program that also is on your computer. Is this correct? I don't know for sure if Sonar will do that, maybe someone else will respond who knows this. I have done this with Audacity which is a free program. You can record "whatever is playing through your speakers" with Audacity. You could save as a .wav file then bring into Sonar. Good Luck!

So lets see if we can figure out what exactly you want to do.

Do you have a file on your computer that you want to put into Sonar (either by recording it from your speakers, or some other way)?  If so, what type of file is it (e.g. wave, MP3, midi, some other format)?

Ok, so you have a midi file.  You can import that into Sonar and load up a soft synth with the sound that you want it to play.

You want to record your voice singing along to the midi file.  What type of microphone do you have and how are you connecting to your computer?

I don't quite understand what you mean by "tonality plus 1 (velocity) or minus 1."

So in simple steps:
1) import the midi file into sonar and route it to a soft synth with the sound you want it to play.
2) Create a new audio track to record your voice into.  Set the input to your microphone.
3) Arm the track and press record.  The midi file will play and you can record your voice along with it.

Hope that helps.

ok I use van basco midi player in wich you can mute undesired channel but the important thing for me is the key note
in van basco I can adjust this key to fit my voice and save it with the chosen key into a playlist Before I had sonar Le and I could select an option in window xp sound setting that allowed me to record speakers sound with wich is not available in window 7 . I loaded the midi in sonar le and open a wave track wich was recordind the speakers sound.
Is there any way to do this? Can I change the key in Sonar artist?
