Nice happy tune!  I think you should add chipmunk vocals over the top of it.  It screams chipmunks...

Such a neat composition all those bits fit tight although same here with the skins, they're a bit high in the mix (as you said). 
Just a thing though ...I got a Dx7 (From new ! ... yep I'm that old) and it sounded very close to the real deal, so all good here ... stay warm

What IS that fuzzy thing that's trying to devour your keyboard?  It looks like it's either a cat with long ears or a horse with short ears!!
 
This is neat.  Is it a work in progress, or are you going to leave it as it is?  Either way it works.  The lead synth is wayyyy cool.  I'm guessing that's the DX7 V.  I have one of those too.  Love it!
