Voda La Void
You're out getting a bite to eat or something and then it happens...a really cool riff just pops in your head. You're not taking it seriously at first but drum parts start to sneak in..then a switch to another part maybe..then back again..holy shyt this is pretty good actually...a few more minutes and this is really getting refined, and..your guitar is miles away. Fak!

You've got your phone but there's people all around and you don't want to look like a nutcase humming in your phone in the middle of Wally World, and besides you've got chords going on now and you can't hum those...you've got to keep this whole thing going until you get home. There's no other option.

People are trying to talk to you, you're just nodding your head to who knows what, the radio is OFF LIMITS, people are driving so effin slow, wtf people! Every traffic light takes forever, and this tune may even be morphing a little, almost lost that damn chord change that started all this.

Doesn't it seem like the universe is conspiring against you?  But I got it.  It's been decoded to instrument now. Finally can relax. I know you guys have some stories like this.

Never leave your house. You're too creative and useful to society to risk it again.
Tell them all I said so and that they'll all have to to your bidding from now on and bring to food and
whatever it is you need.

Happens all the time. Some of my best material was forgotten before I was able to lay it down.

I too have walked that trail of tears many times.
Good on ya that you made it home with the tune still intact.

No, that's never happened to me. I can't come up with any music unless I'm playing an instrument, my brain just doesn't work that way.

1. The best ideas are always the ones that you cannot remember later.
2. The best tracks are always the ones that do not save properly.
3. The best performances are always the ones that no one else hears.

I write and play some brilliant stuff in my dreams, but can't ever seem to reproduce it when I'm awake.

Funny how that happens.

It's like some kind of message from the universe, but I can't figure out what it is.
