Hi, I was watching a mixing video where the person mixing used a plugin to trim the level of a track by turning it on/off with aim of avoiding mixing by soloing track in isolation. E.g. turn on the plugin on the drums bus and the drums were 10db lower in level. Is there a way to do this in Cakewalk by BandLab?

Any ideas?

Also note that where it says "Set the Dim Solo Gain setting to either -6 dB, -12 dB, or -18 dB" note that you can type in any value you want - you're not restricted to those values. This is very handy when comping, where you want to hear the part in great detail but still want to have some context with the rest of the song.
