Sure, but is should not be necessary. I was hoping to create a formula which could be sent to Cakewalk support so they could handle the clash rather than throw up their standard missing plug-in error. I would guess the project in SONAR works without error in SONAR and the MC7 project works OK in MC7. Is this the case?

Just a little background, Boost11 and PX64 are VST plug-ins bundled with SONAR. They have been around some time. Cakewalk has re-purposed these plug-ins in MC7 to be part of the Mixstrip. Because of this, the plug-ins while used by each DAW may not be interchangeable. With the limited testing I have done to familiarize myself with MC7, I have yet to open an MC7 project in SONAR and vice versa. I would expect some complaints from MC7 when opening SONAR projects, if only because all of the features in SONAR are not present in MC7. The full versions of Boost11 and PX64 are not recognized by MC7 hence the thread linked in msg #9.

I just created a project in MC7 w/ two audio tracks. Added Mixstrip effects to both tracks. Saved and opened the project in SONAR without error. I see the Mixstrip effects appear as FX Chain effects in SONAR. Then I modified the project in SONAR saved and re-opened in MC7 without error. I have a few ProChannel modules which are added by default in SONAR, these now appear in the project in MC7. While I would expect them to all to fail in MC7, the Console Emulator still works. The Tape Sim does not. The PC EQ seems to switch smoothly between SONAR and MC7.

In short, the project apears to move between both products without throwing error messages.

Was either product purchased from Steam?

Are both SONAR and MC7 patched up to date?
Check the bottom of the About screens.
SONAR should show  21.03.00 build 20 x64
MC7 should show 21.00.01 build 33 x64

Since you have Platinum, you are entitled to telephone support. I would recommend calling Cakewalk tech support. What you are experiencing is unusual. I cannot replicate it.

Something which may fix the problem is a VST reset. This rebuilds the plug-in inventory used for both programs. Here are instructions for X3 http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013315/SONAR-X3-Full-VST-Rescan-Recommended-for-Upgraders. The Platinum process is the same.

If it were my problem, I would call Cakewalk, emailing support would be my second choice. Deleting and reinstalling are always options. To me deleting projects fixes nothing. The only reason I have MC7 installed is to help people here. Normally I would only install SONAR Platinum.
