I haven't read this. Looks kinda interesting. I doubt one man can take credit for all of it. I believe govt. tech is 40 years ahead of anything we now have. The GP basically gets the leftovers years later. Would love to see some of the things behind the curtain now in development.
The end result is most of us look at screens for more of our life than we live in reality. That world becomes a new reality to us.
It is information, but it's often groomed or inaccurate information. The social implications are not good either. Maybe you remember a time when people sat on porches and waved at those who passed by? Now most people experience social exchange on computers.
