Well, I went country in oh, 2003ish because that's where the players to look up to were and the mixes and the harmonies and all that sonic perfection. So that's my hobby. Amusing myself trying to nail pop country mixes and songs. The lyrics are really hard to do. Where in rock it was silly easy. Nothing fires me up more than the hope of a new fresh tune.
Hi bitman ,
That sounds nice. Good post
A few years back ( 3 or 4 ) I was approached by a local Country Rock Band .
The band played covers of the current charting Country tunes ...Over here on my end I had to look over and learn some wheres North of over 40 + Charting Country tunes .
I was shocked at how good most of the music was ...
Any way I passed on joining the band (the singer dug booze more than they dug music )
I still have the tunes someplace ..some real kick a$$ music ..Yeah good guitar playing matched with some real inventive story telling ...great mix's also ..
Oh Lord the hope of a new fresh tune is one heck of a rush ...I have been chasing that one for years .
Recently I lowered my standards and decided to go for the rush of a fresh new guitar lick when ever I can snag one
nice talking with you

My inspiration comes from people I've met, books I've read, stories I hear, stuff people say. In a dry spell right now but it will return, it always does.
Hi James , you have a way with words and getting right to the heart of the matter .
What you have said has mirrored some of the most cherished moments I have found in music
Nice talking with you .You summed it up very nicely .
