EDIT: So, first I got all my aers, should have searched a bit first. The GM is already there in the AD2 app Also logged into my account and saw what I have as far as packs.

Si how many drum kits did we get included with AD2 in Splat? what are they?
Does anyone have a General midi map AD2?
I just always use EZ Drummer 2 and sometimes Steven Slate Platinum 4. Would like to explore AD2.
Guess I need some tutorials....

Thanks

Platinum came with AD2 and 3 ADPaks. This allowed the user to choose 3 kits, 3 MIDI packs and 3 additional kit pieces. However, AD2 is not installed with SONAR. The AD2 installer is supplied by XLN Audio. If you have never installed AD2, here are the instructions.

AD2 may be set to use GM. To do so,
  • click ? on the upper right of the AD2 UI
  • select Map Window from the menu
  • select GM from the Map Preset drop down in the upper left of the Map Window. Click OK at the bottom right if you wish to set the GM map as the default.

Well actually it seems that ad2 took over all the instruments, that why it sounded so strange.I'll try again.

Got it sorted out thanks...............It is a different but only because I have used EZ drummer and Slate drums pretty much exclusively. At least I got things working.

Now I will try to actually learn. My projects are DONE- So I do not need patterns or any of that right now because I did that already

So far, Slate drums sound best to me of the ones i have but EZ drummer is easier to use  and has more variety.....
