I see, if I remember correctly, Amplitube 3 is one of the programs that has to be installed and you have to tell it where to add the .dll.

I'll soon find out!

Downloading now...

I forgot how long it takes to download!

By the way Tedd, is it running OK in standalone mode?

Okey-dokey, I think I've solved your problem

During the installation, by default, the installer creates a brand new folder to store the 'dll - it's located here C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns

You can do either of two things from here.
  • Either: open the VST Adapter and add the newly created C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns folder to the list of folders to scan
  • Or (much better): open the new folder and copy the .dll across to the VST Plug-ins folder you created earlier (where you added the BaxterEQ) and scan that folder again
That should do it

My man you rule!  Thanks so much.  If I wasn't across the pond I'd buy you beers!    I've never used plug ins before so sorry for being so naive with all of this.  I've always just mic'd up an amp in my studio while using GTP3.  Here's a link to my Youtube channel.  Check it out when you get a chance.

Thanks again Steve!  It has opened in GTP3 and the browser is refreshing so hopefully this is the last step.  I really appreciate your help my man

When you downloaded Amplitube 3 how did you register it?  Everytime I get to that page it's requesting a serial number to input?  I didn't receive any such thing while downloading that program.  Did you?

Wow - that's some awesome playing Tedd!

I'd give my right arm to be able to sweep like that

Anyway, hope all is working OK. Post back if you get any problems.

Did you have to create an account when you downloaded it?

I already have an IK User Account so I just downloaded it from there - I can't remember what happens with a fresh installation.

If you have an account, you'll have to sign in and navigate to the User Area, then select the Downloads link. The serial should be listed there.

If you don't have an account, I assume you'll have to create one.

The authorisation screen appears everytime you open Amplitube I think.

I do online lessons and I'll be sure to get you a copy of that particular lesson if you like for all the help you've given me.  I'm now trying to figure out why when I bring in the VST plugin to GTP3 and set my ASIO drivers why it's not recognizing the programs?  Before it recognized Amplitube LE but now it's not even creating playback for that since I brought in Amplitube 3.  The saga continues my friend.  LOL!   Any ideas?

Apologies - the serial number is located in the User Area > Authorisations.
