Just received my Studio Capture and going through everything. I have several computers, and other interfaces from RME, Edirol etc, but this particular beast I was going to use with my modest netbook (yes, netbook).
Recording has worked flawlessly with 12 channels in the past, so that's no issue but....

The control panel for my studio capture is cut in half (I can see channels 1-9 basically), it cannot be moved across the screen, and there are no menues whatsoever. It's the latest driver from OW, so it "should" be ok.
Input?

I have run 2 of these for over a year and never had a hiccup. No problems with the screens at all. I would try support at Roland. I don't know if you have to file a report or not.

What kind of OS are you using?

When you say worked in the past what do you mean? The Studio or something else?

First time using the studio or what? You need to list your equipment and be more specific if you're requesting assistance.

Fair enough.

Received the Studio Capture yesterday. As stated I aim to record with my netbook that easily can accommodate 12-15+ tracks with ease (on max buffer, since you're only throwing audio at it).
OS is a nice stripped W7-32. Right now I have plugged in 10 mics and a few line-ins and recorded mumbo-jumbo for a period of time. Works beautifúlly. But the control panel does not, needless to say.

Moreover: there is a new bug with AUTOSENS, It is working sporadically, With all mics plugged in I press the AUTOSENS for all channels, makes some noise for 10-15 sec, and then stop for it to update all gain settings in automatic mode. Nice. The following times - regardless of the AUTOSENS being in auto or manual mode - it only says "AUTOSENS cancelled". Does not matter if I use it in "auto" mode and let AUTOSENS shut off after the mandatory 4 secs of silence or in "manual" mode where I can press the AUTOSENS button myself to update settings. I only get "AUTOSENS cancelled".

BTW - so far I have escalated this to Roland SE, Roland DE and Roland US. All have responded saying they don't know, or cannot accommodate the request.

Could it be a screen resolution problem? It sounds like control app does not fit on the screen.

Agreed that it is a fairly small 10-11" screen, but there is still room to spare when it opens up. And even if that not had been the case, one should been able to access all channels, either through resizing, or through scrolling.
