Excellent rock boogie tune Mark! Especially the organ, sax and the guitars are done really well! :)

Hey Mark!  I remember this one!  Scotty fiddle is unmistakable!  Love Rich's sax!  how's he been?  Haven't seen him around in a long time!

lovely bass and guitar playing, - piano is sweet - love that organ!

Rex - thanks so much. I think Scotty played all the keys on this one too.

Thanks Wookiee - means a lot coming from you.

Hi Beagle. Yea, Scotty really makes this one stand out.  I think Rich is doing well - we've talked about doing some more tunes - just haven got around to it. Thanks for taking a listen.

Really liked this track, nice flow to it and really well recorded. Sounds good on my laptop speakers also. Nice one.

Top-notch tasty playing. Mix, to my ears, has everything trying to come forward at the same time. It kind of works but I guess I wanted a more "smokey" vibe, which might set the bass and drums back just a bit.

That low organ fill is swirly goodness! And the guitar is great! But you can hear the guitar lead breaking up in spots, crackles and crispy. Were you going for that?

Kudos also for Pismo in Dust, love that tune! I'd make the same mix comments for that one - just my personal preference I guess.

For an experiment, in both tunes, I think you have a background guitar part panned wide? Kind of got some flange on it, doing some arpeggios and little noodles? You might try dropping the volume of that part alone, and see what it does for the mix.

When all is said and done, such tasteful arranging, and in particular, great guitar tones and chops.

cheers,
-Tom
