Hey mods, I tried posting here in CH twice, different threads but the same subject. Both times I tried editing the post within about five minutes of posting them and both times my thread disappeared... what gives?
I'm guessing it's a bot catcher but hey… As stiff and formulaic as I am, I'm no bot :)

Also had no clue who to write to which is why am putting this here

That has happened to me plenty of times .
When ever that has happened on a posting I wanted to keep  , I would PM a forum Mod and give them the link to the thread . Most of the time it was the spam filters that munched my post .
One forum mod I used to PM turned out to be an interesting person to Rap with ..we even started talking food recipes and what type of Bud was good for the head

If you have a link, we can easily restore it. Without a link, we have to go searching for it.

To avoid having your thread disappear, avoid going back and editing the top post. That'll trigger Aksimet to give it another examination, and following rules literally no one understands (it's automated machine learning) may decide it's spam. If the post it doesn't like happens to be the first in a thread, then the whole thread goes away. So if, say, you want to add a link, do it in a new post rather than editing the original thread-starter.
