i have Applied to legally change my last name (Jarsve). I do not marry anyone or a guitar or amp, but do this because i dont want anything to do with that family.

I changed my last name 20+ years ago for the very same reason, long before I joined this forum, but I did once have to make a change. An admin did it for me no problem.

Sorry, hosts don't have permission to do that. You'll need to contact an administrator. Perhaps a PM to Jon Sasor. He's in Singapore today, probably lounging at the hotel pool with nothing better to do anyway.

I accidentally left the "i" out of my user name over on the Presonus site. I used my real name there or the longer version of it which is Timothy..........I attempted to get it changed a few times and they ignore me over there, so I guess unless I delete the account I'll forever be "Tmothy". Oh well

I haven’t gotten clearance for Skald yet. But no one in the world is named this. And no other family can say no. So, I have hopes for this. If it does not go through, I will just pick another name.
 
Skald is a title for the Scandinavian poet/historian/musician at the court of a Scandinavian leader during “Viking” age and later.

Fun Fact:
The greatest skald of them all was Øyvind Skaldespiller. (norrønt Eyvindr Finnsson skáldaspillir, born about 920, died in Alstahaug about 990). So you se that the letter “Ø” is a modern letter. My name can be written both with an “E” and an “Ø” now days. But back then they used “E”. Skaldspiller is Poet Musician. Spiller = Play, as you play an instrument.
 
But I am not taking this name because of this guy alone. If any, I want to make my own legacy.

I'll let you use Bapu if that doesn't work out.
