Hi, I am planning to develop a software control surface for Sonar. The idea is to have a GUI next to the Sonar GUI that does some specific operations on Sonars` faders etc. I tried using the SDK2 from Cakewalk, but I am having trouble getting my setup to work. C++ has been a while for me (pre VC6), but I have been programming in C# for a couple of years now. Can anyone give me a few pointers on how to get started. (I tried the bc2000 project, but Visual Studio 2010 gives an error on opening it. Some specific questions: 1) Where is the 'entry point' in the sample project? I´d like just to send a basic 'I am here' signal to Sonar, like setting the volume of track 1 to -12dB. 2) Do I need to use MIDI? It is a software controller, so no MIDI interface exists? How to get around this one.... Thanks, Nadish Sonar X1, Windows 7, 64 bit. Visual Studio 2010
