Seems dumb, but out of the vast infinite expanse of the internet, my most common daily routine of use comes down to five websites.

This forum, gearslutz, a local yokel news source, the Yahoo portal, and soundonsound.

I can't help but feel I'm missing out on something . . . Mostly to learn about music or studio stuff, but special interest subjects being fine as well . . . Care to share your go-to sites that you frequent frequently?

I had almost forgotten about gearslutz Tom. Checked out your page. Love the music vids you made. Where do you get your video from?

I am on the Cakewalk site a lot...no one knew that.

I occasionally visit and contribute to a site called songstuff.com. I go by there on a fairly regular basis. There are a few experienced people there but it's mostly noobs trying to figure things out. Still a nice place to visit and comment or contribute. John has done a lot of work on that site recently and gave it a nice face lift.

Since I'm a fiddle player I go to violinist.com and fiddlehangout.com and see what they have going on. Both good sites although v.com has a much more sophisticated membership. Maybe you already knew this:  Trained classical violinists are a very anal lot. The site also seems much more international.

I've been going by KVR to look that site over. Nice site with a lot of info for studio owners/musicians.
I frequent other daw sites on a fairly regular basis such as Presonus, Ableton, Acoustica, magix. I'm here most often though.

YouTube- Yes a lot
Soundcloud- Not very often. I find it depressing lol. I try to stop by and connect with members occasionally and look at my dismal plays. I try to follow legit people who followed me.I don't have as much time to listen lately though. I squeeze in a few minutes here and there.
Reverbnation- I'm a member but I forgot the last time I was there.
Plugin and music tech- I'm always poking my nose into those sites.

The web is  big place and I'm sure I'm not the best example of  find ing all the right doors to go through. I would like to find some other good sites.

On YouTube I watch a lot of Rick Beato's stuff, also Paul Davids, both really knowledgeable guys.

Apart from that it's mainly keeping up with bands and artists I like to check for tours & albums.
