If only I could get my V700 system to "talk" to the other programs I use besides Sonar. I really like Sonar and have been using it for many years. But now I find that I  also need to work in Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro doing Worship projects. I export OMF2 out of Sonar but watch the console stop working as soon as I change platforms. I know it's a slightly different subject  but just felt like throwing that in the ring.

I finally got Method 1 to work.  Thanks very much for the tip.  I'm not sure why it didn't work first time around, maybe a reboot IS needed after disabling Windows driver verification.  In the interim I had sent a support request to Roland who told me my product was not compatible with Win 10.  When I told them it was and they should update their Win 8 driver setup files in accordance with this thread, I got the usual corporate legalistic nonsense about them not supporting Win 10 with my product & not supporting modifications to their drivers.  Naturally I will now think long & hard before I buy another Roland product, but for now my Edirol FA-101 is working in Windows 10 very nicely thank you!

OGG, have you done the STEP 4 for drivers to work ? I tried with the additional line (for the VS-700C) but it doesn't work.

I managed to get the VS-700C working in stand-alone mode on Windows 10 using the 8.1 driver, if you anyone is having trouble with that.

It worked for my Sonic Cell following this link (http://www.howtogeek.com/...all-unsigned-drivers/) to disable the signed peripheral thing and then the method one (changing the inf file and installing normally the driver). That's very cool because the Sonic Cell is still good sounding for some purposes andhas precious srx cards in it. It's a shame that Roland doesn't maintain this equipement to sell new stuff I will definitely not buy. Many thanks to this forum's help.

Hello Thierry, That's good news! Do you happen to know whether this would work for 32-bit windows by any chance? Many thanks!
