Yeah, this be some good work. Love the groove with just a bit of funkiness, and everything is played and recorded well. Nicely balanced mix, real clean and good separation.

I'm on my third listen, and this might be my new favorite from you, Ed! Great songwriting, instrumental performances and excellent vocals! This really brings to mind some of Warren Zevon's early stuff, which I always loved.

I really like the subtle, but tasty little guitar fills and solos, and the clean tone is absolutely perfect for the fresh, modern sounding mix. Nice icing on a tasty cake!

Indeed, it's interesting how negative experience inspires a great musical idea. If this isn't hypothetical, I'm sorry you had to live among these "dirty little secrets", but I really enjoy the song that was inspired by them. Great tune and production.
