Hi James,

I'm in one of your song threads early for a change

Love the type of playing your doing here ...very tasteful & easy to listen too...
Your guitar playing takes me from point A to lot of nice musical places along the way as the song develops ...
I enjoyed  that little Gilmore slide thing ...later on in the song ....This is also a nice collab ...
I don't I don't know if you used it or not on this song , but if you did ...
I think you really showed that pedal we were talking about a while back who the boss is

Kenny

Thank you very much Kenny! I was trying to keep this one quite 'smooth'. Good ears, there are indeed a couple of tones using the RP55 pedal

Thanks for the opportunity to do it again with you Jyemz.

Wait that did not come out right.

Thanks as always Ed, your bottom end is always welcome...

Thanks for inviting the current Mrs daryl1968 and I to this one.
I'm glad you like my wife's arrrrse (is that how you spell it?).

Thank you Daryl & Liz..on balance I think the missus' aaarrs just have the edge on yours...

Very nice! Love the guitars, as always. Bass is understated, but supports the song very well. The backing vocals were a pleasant surprise, just because I've never heard you do that before. Altogether, really well done track!

Regards,
Dan

Thans Dan. Since that was exactly what I was going for it seems I hit the mark. At least for you.

This James is very nice, an exceptionally nice way to ease my furry ears awake on this Monday morning.  My furry body is still in post GMT shock, this has made the transition to BST easier thanks.

Nice bass and backing vocals from the supporting primates.

Thanks John! I find it's better with the clock change to do it in the morning after I get up at my usual time

Thank you Dan! Ed always 'finishes the jigsaw' with the bass, it's a treat to pop it into the project and hear what he's come up with. The BGVs were a late idea, but Daryl & Liz did exactly what I'd imagined, and it works really nicely.

Foreboding strife

Until bout 20sec

The bass kills

That old time synth sound is cool

those backing vox?  Who is your choir?  My lord who?

At three minutes the light shines, the subdued solo, man! Are you using a slide?

And then at 4 minutes you kick MFA

sometimes
in the world today
the butter and jelly
comes into play
with the deftness of a clown
intentionally

(a real clown, not a politician
harmonic convergence
left hand motocross)

makes you think

nice work homes

Wow James - that is nice - so creative - and all of the playing is just fantastic. I really love this one.
