I want to be able to duck the reverb on a vocal using an aux send and Fabfilter Pro C2. There are a ton of YouTube examples using ProTools but nothing for Sonar Plat. What’s the step by step secret sauce to make this work?

You need to enable the sidechain in ProC2 and then go to the ducker track and use the send to send it into the sidechain on ProC2. From there adjust the threshold, attack etc pf ProC2

There's a pretty good tutorial on the old Cakewalk site that even has a sample project to get started with Sidechaining with Sonar. Seems quite straightforward and I'm glad that Cakewalk by Bandlab supports sidechaining.
