I just tried FF. Every site I visited was just a blank screen. Checked the web. Nothing helped. Uninstalled.

I've used Edge twice. Both times to download Firefox after reinstalling Win10.

My experience as well.
 
To be fair, I can't say how good/bad Edge is/was as I never gave it a chance.  No need to.

Except there IS a need to support a rich and diverse ecosystem as far as the web is concerned! Don't get me wrong, Google has done INCREDIBLE things, many for free for the good of the world, but it is steadily becoming the  'Master of the Universe' if you will.
 
Additionally, Edge is actually a very nice browser and the most efficient one on Windows for many things. Especially on touch devices it's the best option and on slower machines allows you to things that would bring other browsers to a crawl..

Uninstalled Edge the first day I used it.
 
Quit using FireFox a few years ago when it got very unstable. (Might be better now.)
 
Use Chrome 90% of the time. I've never had that problem others here have described of extensions adding themselves to it. What the heck websites are you surfing too!?
 
I keep the venerable IE-11 and use it for certain sites that Chrome doesn't display well. (Mostly newer Flash content.) In my experience, IE displays Flash content better and Chrome displays HTML5 content better. HTML5 is still trying to do things Flash could do ten years ago and failing.
 
I make part of my living formatting eBooks (actually print books too), and if you think it's tough designing web content for a handful of different browsers, wait until you have to design it for eReaders AND apps where there isn't a single industry standard and people read on everything from 25" monitors to 11" tablets to 4" cell phone screens, all of them with different margins and default fonts, indents, etc., etc., etc.... believe me, media queries are your friend . . . and your enemy.

On my music rig I have IE-11 and Firefox. But I keep that computer offline 90% of the time. I do my web surfing on Linux, currently Kubuntu (rapidly becoming my favorite). I use something called Falkon, formery called Qupzillza. It's fast, attractive, and unfortunately the spell checker lacks a dictionary, which is why I make a lot of typos that go uncorrected.
