Uninstalled Edge the first day I used it.
Quit using FireFox a few years ago when it got very unstable. (Might be better now.)
Use Chrome 90% of the time. I've never had that problem others here have described of extensions adding themselves to it. What the heck websites are you surfing too!?
I keep the venerable IE-11 and use it for certain sites that Chrome doesn't display well. (Mostly newer Flash content.) In my experience, IE displays Flash content better and Chrome displays HTML5 content better. HTML5 is still trying to do things Flash could do ten years ago and failing.
I make part of my living formatting eBooks (actually print books too), and if you think it's tough designing web content for a handful of different browsers, wait until you have to design it for eReaders AND apps where there isn't a single industry standard and people read on everything from 25" monitors to 11" tablets to 4" cell phone screens,
all of them with different margins and default fonts, indents, etc., etc., etc.... believe me, media queries are your friend . . . and your enemy.
