Hi
I have just bought a standalone VS700R and I am struggling with the Fantom outputs.
I have read several posts about this and some refer to a hotfix? 
 
I have inserted a Fantom instrument but cannot hear anything unless I turn up the Fantom faders through the VS-700 I/O Editor and turn on the direct mix output.
Working this way though I cannot control the overall output with my Sonar console and also freezing the tracks result in empty audio.
 
Am I doing something wrong or do I need the 'hotfix' ?
