Is Cakewalk still supporting the SFZ Format?
I cannot find the SFZ Format information pages.  If Cakewalk still supports the format can someone list the links to where the information is located?

Sincerely,

Stan

it used to be at https://www.cakewalk.com/DevXChange but that now just links to the blog, with only 2 posts returned for sfz http://blog.cakewalk.com/tag/sfz/

SFZ format info seems to have become scarce.

Fortunately I printed cavallas' (sp?)'s description way back when, but every plug supports a different sub- and superset in my experience (I have systematically tested each feature on Session Drummer, Plone and DimPro)

There are also 3rd party extensions, so like the SI String Section supports encrypted wav files, making it very difficult to fix the wildly varying volume levels on the different samples.

I think PatchArena. com either has the sfz pages or a link to another site.  That is what came up the last time we had this question.

Patch Arena has some SFZ format info here:

patcharena (dot) com/synth-resources/sfz-format-resources/
(helpful links at the bottom of this page include the original rgc:audio sfz page, maintained for posterity)

The following examples make use of the free Plogue sforzando SFZ 2.0 file player:
