So I finally spent a little time trying to figure this out. Many many of my RPro patches won't load for one reason or another. They're not expansions, they're part of RPro's Factory Library.

Here's an example: 80's Poly pad from the Atmospheric type. (note: "80s Poly Pad 2" loads just fine) My log pops up and I can see RPro scans three locations for each sample. Looks like it looks for (in order): WAV, SFZ, and finally FLAC (which it finds). But, the Program won't open with a simple "unable to open program file" msg.

So, I do some searching, and I find "80s Poly Pad 1" instead, in the correct location. Okay, is that just a mis-named file? There isn't any Program with that name listed in the log.

Okay, lets try another one: AmbiantAcceptance (just two presets down the list).
This doesn't even get to the multisamples, it throws an error of "Unable to open Program file" straight away. A search reveals there is no such file on any of my drives. Meanwhile I've already re-installed the Atmospheric patch library from CCC with no errors given. So....where is it?

I want to like this synth but without access to all its sounds and knowing they are collectively installed correctly it's been pretty much the software equal of a paperweight. I've dropped two support requests with no response (which is odd for Cake).

So, anyone else have problems like this still?

I installed 64bit RPro only using default locations. There are some programs which are too large for 32bit RPro. The two mentioned are not among them.

I do not see  RPro > Atmospheric > 80's Poly Pad. I do see "80s Poly Pad 1" in this image of my RPro Factory Library on start up.

RPro > Atmospheric > Ambiant Acceptance loads OK for me. On my machine, the fully qualified program name is "C:\Cakewalk Content\Rapture Pro\Programs\Rapture Pro\Ambiant Acceptance.prog."

Yah, but the error log shows it's looking for "80s Poly Pad" without the "1".

Here is the top of a log which loads and plays RPro > Atmospheric > 80s Poly Pad 1

The log is fairly verbose. It performs a series of searches until it tries and finds the flac files. It is normal for the log to show a lot of "load failed" messages. The log does not indicate successes but if a program fails there will be a line starting with (!)

Oh no, I take it back, in my programs list just like in your screenshot, my program says "80s Poly Pad" without the "1". wtf?

Did you also fully install Rapture Session? I have no idea what programs are bundled with Rapture Session. When it was released, I only installed the plug-in. My RPro installation dates from around last October when I took delivery of my current PC.

Nope, never installed Rapture Session. I shouldn't have to to get RapPro's patches working, and given that my install is wonky somehow I didn't want to perhaps mess it up more.

There is no requirement to install Rapture Session. I did not have any problems before or after installing the plug-in. I only mentioned it to rule out if it were somehow introducing bad programs into your library. So the mystery remains.

Indeed it does. Maybe one of the bakers will chime in? ;-)

After extensive testing loading and hearing all of the Factory Library presets for Rapture Pro only 4 programs failed to me to load "Multipulse & Brass", "OSC 6-String", "Sawed in half with waves" and "Saw in a half" then everything is just fine, what really intrigues me is the space requirements, the installers reach 10.1GB but the installation in the Cakewalk Sample Data folder only have 5.13GB in size, i've sent a support ticket with that matter but not received any response yet, i don't know if i have something missing but the rest of the VST is awesome i'm really happy with it.
