If you bought 9 a few months ago your WUP should be up to date. 10 adds a grand piano and the Kramer drum channel.

How do we update and activate only WUP included products , as opposed to all plugins?
Don't want to accidentally hose all my waves plugs.

Yes I noticed that Waves Central was offering to update all plugins even those outside of WUP!
 
So I went to the website under My Account and My Products. I clicked "get update" (or something like that) on the first item that still had WUP and it came up with a list of only the items that were still within WUP.
I was then able to select all of those items and click on upgrade.
 
It immediately said upgraded and I was then able to open Waves Central and those products were already in the list under Install and Activate.
 
A bit convoluted and I can't help think that Waves are doing this to make people think they need WUP on everything or accidentally update everything and then find half their plugin no longer work! 

I think it was a foregone conclusion to most of us that Waves would shake things up with v10 -- and here it is!
 
If you have any Waves plugins, check to see which are still under WUP.  These can be upgraded to v10 for free....
 

I have updated (and uninstalled version 9)what I had and it seems to have caused both SPLAT and Cakewalk by Bandlab VST scanner to hang after several attempts and a couple of reboots it seems to have scanned everything.(I suspect Codex was one of the plugins not cooperating)
 
Once I got the scan to complete the things I have tried work fine so far.
 
Everything scanned fine the first time in Komplete Kontrol.

Same here. Was sane enough not to rush to upgrade them all.

I saw that but other than adding two plugins these updates barely seem worthy of a version upgrade. Basically bug fixes.
