Ive pretty well exhausted all my options on tracking the newest driver down for the SPS-66 for Windows 8. I clicked on the link at the top of this forum, and it takes me to a "404" page.

Anyone know where i can find it?

Thanks!

Recent site maintenance broke several links in the support pages. Contact cakewalk customer support or download the FA-66 driver directly from Roland http://www.rolandus.com/p...details/731/downloads/

Thanks Scook,

I downloaded the FA-66 driver and am having problems getting the installation software to recognize that the interface is plugged in... When i get to the "plug in firewire cable and power on unit" screen, i cannot click "next". Obviously, i plugged in the firewire cable and powered on the unit when it told me to. I went into control panel under device manager and the "SPS-66" shows up in the list but says "drivers not installed".

Any suggestions?

I wish I could be more help but I do not have an FA-66 or Win8 at my disposal. I did notice there were several different Win8 drivers for the FA-66. Make sure to d/l the Cakewalk FA-66 driver for your OS and not the Edirol FA-66 driver. Try running the installer as administrator. Since the sale of Cakewalk to Gibson, hardware support for the product is supplied by Roland.
