Without getting political, there is some good advice in here for people on either side of the aisle, i.e. don't lose your mind.  There are too many groups on both sides trying to herd "their people" into certain beliefs and thoughts.   Best to stay non-tribal and use your own mind and reasoning.  That is what made this country great in the first place.

Amen. The people I fear most are those who don't understand that one political party is just as corrupt as the other regardless of ideology. I'm pretty conservative, but I'd be a liar and a fool if I said our leaders weren't on average a bunch of self serving people. Slime always has a way of rising to the top in every political system and party unfortunately. When was the last time you saw someone run for president that you looked at and said to yourself, "There's someone who really should be president." The only person in my lifetime I think that might have been true for was Eisenhower, but I was just a baby. 

Yeah, I said it. I'm old and fearless.

Thanks.  I woke up one morning with this idea and melody in my head and started to develop it. It was a fun project but I'm super sick of it now..... you know how that goes when you create your own music and video , start to finish.

This is a well-crafted piece and the vocals are outstanding. Mix sounds pretty good, though I think it may get a little too dense in spots.

I had a feeling that the mix was on the dense side but I got to the point where I couldn't be objective anymore. After throwing in some strings and organ I pretty much stopped.   I'm still learning the skill of placement and eq.  It's very tough for me. I wish I had the cash to pay a pro to do some mixes. I think it would be great to what a pro could do with some of my stuff.  (You did a helluva job on "The Way I Fee)"

Slightly political?  I could see that track opening the Shawn Hannity show.  Actually, for a political song, it's got a lot of melodic qualities.  Usually when people try to force statements in their lyrics like that, the melody suffers from them trying to fit in what they want to say.  But you've done a great job creating catchy lines and excellent vocal execution.  Reminds me of Aimee Allen's 'Ron Paul Anthem' in that way (love that song).  
 
I'm not sophisticated enough to comment on mixes but it sounded quite professional to me.  Nice work.  

Thanks for the compliments. I know what you mean about message stuff or even comedic tunes.  Remember Ray Stevens? "The Streak"  showing my age here.....  Robin is always on my butt about not falling into the "Debbie Boone" trap when I sing. You should here the stuff that doesn't make the final cut. Some of it will put you off  your food. ;-)

I did notice that the Youtube platform definitely has an algorithm that alters the loudness of the track but it didn't do too much damage to it. A little less clarity dynamic range but not too bad.

Very catchy track, listened without really paying attention to the lyrics the first time through and it is a very excellent pop song, vocals and BGV harmonies are great.  Cool guitar solo.   Went back and listened again with the video/lyrics and was surprised you got a message into that melody.  Like Voda La Void says, when you try to force statements into a song the melody usually suffers.   That didn't happen here so good work.
