Hi Bobby. You know I'm not a troll (nor is Tim for that matter), so believe me when I say, I cannot for the life of me understand why you keep hanging around this guy's threads and defending him.
That song he posted is full of the most hateful misogyny, why would you want to be associated with that? Talking about murder and violence towards women is your idea of 'skills and talent'?
Then he responds to criticism with homophobic insults.
I don't even know why this thread is still here, or why he's not banned, for life.
James, I apologize if I offended anyone, that was never my intention.
Anthony is my friend, and a few of his songs and music might be filled with things others don't approve of, even me at times, but he is just like everyone else trying to find his way making music.
Some of you have no idea of his other works, he made an album. Everything for the most part on that album was up beat and happy with a few sad songs. No gangsta rap stuff. It was really good! I played a little part on it also.
I don't believe in censorship or trying to chastise someone because someone doesn't like what they have to say with their music regardless of how it may sound. Had a few Senators had their way in the late 70's and early 80's their never would have been the songs "Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver and Twisted Sister "Were Not Gonna Take It" songs and many other bands songs. Not to mention songs by NWA, which I don't even listen to Rap but I saw the movie Straight Outa Compton and I get where the music and words are coming from, in some situations I can relate myself.
Yeah, Anthony's latest tunes are rap and have a rough edge to them, but I'm not living where he is but I am not anybody to judge anyone and I wouldn't even if I were.
As for the insults to others, you have to consider, his music was called childish and such things to begin with, if someone said that towards you then you might respond different or not at all, but if you lived in a different area like him or perhaps me or others that might not be the appropriate reply.
Either way, Your my friend, and Anthony is my friend, and regardless of how someone feels about anything there is no need for anyone to get personal to begin with by calling someone else's music Childish. It takes a lot of guts to put your music out there with something you pour your heart into, when someone takes a jab at you by calling your music Childish then it's personal.
Either way, I'm done with the songs forums myself. I don't need the drama.
Take Care James! Best of Luck!
