I saw the new Music Creator 6 and was wondering if there was a new Guitar Tracks Pro on the way.

If and when there is a new Guitar Tracks Pro will it be 32x or 64x like MC6? Will it have a new x1 like interface like MC6? I ask mostly because I'm buying or building a new pc to use as a daw and am not sure wich os to pick.

No post, not sure what's happening? 64 bit will run 32, but not the other way around. About every new computer has 64 bit now, just seems logical to go 64bit, good luck!

I've been using Guitar Tracks V2 for about three years and couldn't record the distortion channel without a terrible Hum - However I moved my Amp Ten feet from the PC, and providing I play 6 feet from the amp and 6 feet from the PC, I can turn the distortion channel half on and get a really rocky sound without Hum !! much pleased

Ya I know it'll run on a 64x system,I'm just wondering if the next GTP will fully support 64x.I've also seen a couple of pc's where I live that have Windows 7 32x that are in my price range.

My bad on that one, I didn't realize there was that big of a price differential. Having both GTP4, and Sonar 8.5 x64, there is such a difference in quality of sound as well as possibilities, but if you have to do what you have to do, completely understand. If there is any way you could, and totally just my opinion, it's worth having x64 just "in case", and once again, IMHO, just better quality, once again, good luck!

Its all good.If I have to I'll get MC6 or,bite the bullett and X1.It looks like everything is going 64x.One thing I'm not sure of is,if I can move GTP 4 from one PC to another.

Yes, you can definitely move it, or if you have the boxed version(w/discs), you can use those, you can only use it on one computer at a time. There are plenty of posts on moving to different PC, I personally have not had to, so I can't help you, but thats why I get the box version of everything I purchase, just for that reason, or more importantly, if you have a total crash, just easier, than downloads, not a big fan of them!
