  • Music creator 6 touch - only 4 synths but can't add more

Hi!
I've got a problem. I've only added 4 soft synths to my project in Music Creator 6 Touch but now I can't add any more. I can add audio and midi tracks though. And even if I delete one synth I still can't add any more. The options are greyed out in the menu.
What could the problem be? Have I managed to "lock" the ability of adding synths in some strange way?
If I create a new project I can add synths as usual. But not to my existing one. And I've recorded so much on this project so I don't really want to abandon it and create a new one.

Open the SYNTH RACK view.

It's very likely that you have 8 synths in the rack.... perhaps you tried some others and removed them form the FX bins or deleted the tracks with the synths in them. Doing that clears the synths from the tracks but leaves them still loaded into the project.

The only way to check for sure is to open the synth rack. There, you can see exactly what is and isn't loaded and you can remove the ones you don't need to make room for the ones you do need.

Thanks! I will try that when I get home. I recently switched from an other music software so I'm far from comfortable with Music Creator yet.

It's been a few days, but you may want to look at upgrading to X3(basic version) for $25.
The format is very similar to MC6(touch), and limitations such as this won't be an issue.
Your MC6 projects should open in X3 just fine.
