Bob... Your suggestion of placing high use libraries across multiple drives is spot on...I've been doing that, moving things around so what I generally start with is on three drives and the improvement is fantastic.  I've also begun offloading rarely used samples to external drives... to preserve quality real estate for more favored libraries

I think you should be happy with the performance and the quality of those drives.  I have a couple of them and like them a bunch, plus I believe they have a 3 year warranty.

Couldn't get them in Oz. Had to get one from the US and the other from the UK.
I too distribute sample libraries across drives. Eg I have all my drum samples (even from different vendors) on one drive and orchestral instruments on another.
