HaHa I was just responding to your latest song and about to close and saw this.
My stuff is recorded through a RODE, SHURE or RED mike and then to an outboard noise gate then to an ESI 1010 sound card which in turn linked to the computer. My old stuff was recorded with various outboard stuff to a Tascam 688 (Which I still use sometimes for the analog feel) I'm an old git so loads I could send you to sleep on but that answers you query ..I think
