are you talking about Antares Autotune? are you downloading the demo of it?
what is the EXACT message you're getting?
how are you opening it in MC? give us details on exactly what you are doing, which menu options, where are you clicking, etc.

Ok, let me try to guide you a little more here.

when you are trying to open autotune in MC. are you going to FILE>OPEN and browsing for Autotune? are you double clicking on the autotune icon on the desktop? Are you trying to insert it as an FX from the FX bin?

I need to know EXACTLY how you are trying to open autotune in MC.

it is setup by double clicking autotune it automatically opens mc. the message pops up and then mc closes.

OK! Now we're getting somewhere.

that's not the way you open it in MC. you have to have MC already open. then you have to insert it as an FX in the FX bin of an audio track just like you would any other FX. have you ever inserted an FX into the FX bin? if not, and you don't know how, I strongly encourage you to work thru the tutorials and the getting started guide in the help files.

in the meantime, you need to go to an audio track in MC. I assume you have an audio track which needs some vocals to be corrected, right? load that project, go to that track which has the vocals in it and right click in the FX bin. then choose AUDIO FX>AUTOTUNE (it may be listed in a sub-menu). if it's anywhere to be found, then we'll have to back up and set up MC to know where to find it as a VST and scan it before you can use it.

Ok, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean.

do you mean you've already scanned for autotune using the VST scanner?
I don't have autotune myself and I've never used it, but it's a VST FX just like any other VST FX, so the basic functionality inside MC is the same as any other.
