I'm getting there, I assure you. The updates just seem to take forever. The scanning, the downloading, the updating...ugh. It's like a throwback to Windows Vista (updates), which I never used.

Great function, it liked me.

I see this occasionally on my machine. I've always thought it was related to an oversensitive button on my tower, because I've noticed that when it happens I always seem to have just banged my desk (e.g. by bumping the chair against it too hard). Although I could be wrong.

I've also seen Windows restart after definitely selecting "shut down." I have heard other people complain about that with Windows 10.

Sometimes USB activity (like a bumped mouse) can cause a machine to start (even when you've disabled this in the BIOS).

I guess that's what it must be then! Glad it's not the button
