Hello, I just installed another hard drive to my pc.
 
What is the process to make sonar platinum work in this new hard drive. What is the process for transferring sonar license and all the plug ins ?

All you have to do is download the Cakewalk Command Center.  Log in and then you will be able to download and install Sonar and whatever plug ins you got from Cakewalk.  Plug ins from 3rd parties will have to be obtained from them (e.g. if you have an Izotope product you will have to access your account on Izotope to download purchased products)

Be warned that some products , I'm pretty sure Melodyn is one, you need to de activate the original machine before you remove the old drive. But if you missed that they are generally good about taking pity and sending you a new activation code. Its just  way easier to do it before hand. 
 
Sonars activation system even though at first we questioned it, turns out to be one of the better ones. 
As said all you need is command center and your log on. 
If you still have your old drive I'd put it back in and de activate Melodyn and Adictive drums.
 
Also copy your Command Center download folder so you don't have to re download everything.

It would also be a good idea to delete all those older version releases you are never going to use or roll back to that take many, many gigs of HD space which you may want in the future.

I would actually recommend cloning your hard drive assuming your system is healthy and you only need a new hard drive because you're running out of space, then all you would need to do is reactivate any 3rd party plugins that require it.
