This is an original song written by Sean Peifer and recorded by the band.  Nice piece of writing on this one.  I did the Mixing and mastering on this one.  Let us know what you think.  All comments are welcome.

Beautiful song guys! Love the lyrics. The bass, lead vocal, solo, and harmonies are great too. Just a couple crits though. At 0:13 it sounds like the solo acoustic hits a sour note. And when the drums kick In, it seems like the bass drum is either popping, or the beater attack is over EQ'ed. Just my two cents. I like the song a lot!

Mix comes across well here, the drums are little mundane to my furry ears but what would I know, thanks for sharing peeps.

Nice song and recording quality comes across really well. I think it is the kick drum that sounds a bit off tone wise in comparison to the rest of the kick. Great guitar playing as always though :)

Mike, this comes across as very polished on my system.  Good performances from all make this shine.  By George, I think you have it!

Lynn- Thanks for listening and commenting. If you get a chance, check out Lonely Road as well. We had a lot of fun with that song.

Mike, I thought it was truly great until the chorus came in. Yeah I know, who am I to judge. But I'm just trying to be helpful. I think if you guys put your heads together you could come up with a chorus that was more catchy. Really, the first minute or two was fantastic. If you had a hook that equaled the greatness of the verses you'd be gold.

Hey David-thanks for listening.  I find the mark of a really good song, is that it often takes on multiple meanings, based on the person listening to the song.  You might find it interesting, I know that I did when Sean told us the actual inspiration behind the song; It's actually based around drug addiction.

You might decide to listen once again.  I know it took on an entirely different feeling for me, once I understood the basis behind Sean's lyrics.  It's quite a powerful song.

Nice job!   The vocals are really clear and well defined, and Sean's voice sounds great on this.  Overall I thought the mix was right for the song.  Good one.

My only two nits would be the kick drum as Bidode mentioned - it's a bit "flabby" IMO and could use a rounder tone to fit the song, and after everything kicks in it sounds like the instruments are pushing the beat a little so a little off with the drums (quantized?).
