I remember reading something about vs100 has a harmonizer effect somewhere.

Is this in the software or rather in the device-like calling up EQ, compression or reverb.

I was thinking it might be in the v-64 vocal strip which I really enjoy by the way-was trying out lots of presets last night and it really is an amazing amount of variety on the vocal effects. I like the doubler and the tube knob, too... :) very cool. I wonder if that v-64 plug-in/strip is in Sonar producer x1? It should be, since x1 should have most of the bells and whistles . Haven't even recorded yet using X1, but will eventually...

I'd really like to try that out and see what kind of vocal harmonies it can come up with to give me some different musical ideas on my songs or different looks... :)

yes its in the bundled effects that come with the vs 100.

open up the COSM effects/which opens the editor.
in there look for the vocal settings.
yes they are actually pretty decent.
there are setting to harmonize your voice in octaves and thirds, so on and so on...

if my post has been helpful please feel free to wish me a happy birthday

now please excuse me while I go eat me cake (walk)

I know I'm a day late and a dollar short for this thread but "open up the COSM effects/which opens the editor.
in there look for the vocal settings" has me confounded. Where exactly in Sonar VS does one open COSM effects?
