I love the Pro-Channel E.Q.  Since I use it so much, I wish you could access it from each channel without having to go into the the pro-channel.  I still like the idea of having it in the pro-channel so you can re-order it if you need to, but it would be awesome if there was a button for it on each mixer channel so you could access it faster.

Most of the functionality for this already exists. If you hover over the EQ plot in a regular channel strip, you'll see dots for the four main EQ bands.

Click and drag these to change freqency and gain. Hold down ALT while dragging to change Q.

Also, if the EQ hasn't yet been used in the project, and is in its initial off state, simply clicking and dragging one of the EQ bands will switch it on.

The only bits missing are an ability to toggle it on and off, and a way of using the high and low-pass filters.

I actually thought you could by clicking on the graphic in the console view.  Clicking on that will bring up PC in the track inspector if its open.

So I definitely support this.  I'd like to see it implemented by clicking on the EQ graphic in console view.

You can already do that. Works in both console view and in the inspector.

I'd like to see a button right on each channel that would open the full blown E.Q. Page that lets you do everything including viewing the analyzer.

Ah, yeah, access to the flyout from the regular channel strip, not just the PC. That's a really good idea.

As an alternative you may want to look at Waves H-EQ. It's very much like the Quad Curve EQ with a few more features. The learning curve is almost zero if you use the Quad Curve. I got it for $49 on sale.

I'd like it to be removable, like all the other modules.

If I use a different EQ plug, then please allow me to tailor the ProChannel to my requirements.

There were older versions of Sonar where, if you started a fresh project, the ProChannel would be empty. This proves it is possible.

I'd like to toggle the Quad Curve fly-out with a shortcut key
