SO!!!, last night while trying to bounce down my mixes to a stereo track wave file I repeatedly got an error message. "DEVICE CODE -109, if the problem persists blah, blah, blah". The occurred on several projects which both have about 20-25 UAD plugin in use. I've raised my buffer size to 1024 and turned off the DSP load lock feature in the UAD software settings. I searched the UAD website for and explanation of "DEVICE CODE -109" could not find anything regarding this particular code. Does anyone have a clue what exactly IS this code???

Windows 7 Intel ® Core (TM) i7 – 5930K CPU @3.50GHz system with 32gb RAM
Apollo Firewire (Silver) Interface
UAD-2 Duo pcie card
Sonar Platinum
Studio One 3
 

I suspect this is a question only UA Support can answer.

I talked with a tech support guy at Sweetwater and he remoted into my system and did a complete uninstall/ reinstall of the UAD drivers and software and also corrected some settings in my UAD System settings. So far all is well and running smoothly (knock on wood!!!). I still don't know exactly what "device code -109" means and he wasn't sure what it means also but he believes it has something to do with the firewire bandwidth. THANKS SWEETWATER TECH SUPPORT!!!
 
Before you ask why didn't I call Universal Audio instead, I did but their tech support offices are closed before I can make it back home from work to get in front of my system. (They close at around 1:30 EST. Really???)
