I recorded an alto sax using two Cascade Fathead II mics one on the bell and one for the body of the sax.  I am looking for some advice on how to eq this and possible effects to warm of the sax.  Thanks in advance

i'd go the simple route...
sum them and send them to their own buss....
put a parametric eq on the buss, and do a sharp narrow peak and sweep it.....
find the most annoying frequency, then widen the Q to about 2-4, and bring it down below 0 as much as you need to get rid of the harsh, mellow out the bad stuff, leave the good stuff alone.
 

could be a fraction of a db of cut, to even 4-5 db. depends on the track.
